We should also mention the 'Osoyoo' (https://www.amazon.com/OSOYOO-Touchscreen-Raspberry-Capacitive-Compatible/dp/B08634Y16L/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=osoyoo&qid=1616015294&s=electronics&sr=1-2) screens in different sizes, which have a Raspberry Pi DSI interface and pretty much work out of the box. Two exceptions to that statement: 1) they require a type A flat cable (they supply a short one in the box), as opposed to the official Raspberry Pi screen, which comes with a type B cable, and 2) the screen rotation setting in Jivelite does not work for the display - it has the proper display orientation out of the box, but the touch interface is upside down, requiring you to set the rotation to 0 degrees so that the touch locations are properly calibrated. See this thread: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113708-5-quot-Touchscreen-display-that-works-with-Jivelite-right-out-of-the-box You'll see some working examples. Mine did not require much effort to get working once I figured out the touch rotation problem. I have the 3.5" screen running piCorePlayet 7.0.0. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wtnh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113512 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
