Slimmer on PiCorePlayer is EXACTLY what I need, however I'm I finding it doesn't seem to work following the instructions on the latest build of PiCorePlayer. Has anyone installed from scratch recently with an I2C 20x4 LCD, and if so I'd love to know what version of PiCorePlayer "just worked". I have no issue doing some extras on top of the original instructions I just feel I'm shooting in the dark at the moment. Having said that, if anyone knows of an alternative distro for Audio which allows menu navigation via the LCD and some GPIO buttons I'm all ears.
