Now I've got one HiFiBerry DAC+ ADC, I can answer myself. I finally got it working, the delay from the source is up to 15 sec, but players are in sync. With piCorePlayer 7 it all is there (thanks @paul-), and it's easy with one important thing to respect.
A step by step might be usefül for other newbies: - Plug the HAT onto your Pi - From LMS' plugin page install WaveInput - Plug analog source to 3.5 mm socket of DAC+ ADC - From pCP's tweaks page scroll to "Audio tweaks" and set "Streamer for Audio Input" to "Yes" and "Input Device" to your available input device "sndrpihifiberry" - *Now this is important, and it was the reason it didn't work out in first place for me:* From pCP's squeezelite settings page, I had to clear the output settings field as this finally gives control to asound.conf as written by pCP. - The need to clear output settings field was omly obvious when switched to to pCP_s beta mode/ main page/ beta functions/ extras/ asound/ There it is highlighted that you have to clear this field. - Squeezelite sttings for "Audio output device settings" is also disregarded this way. It is set to default "hw:0,0" in asound.conf, which is HDMI for me. - Create a favorite in LMS with the URL waviin: pcpinput and play piCorePlayer v7.0.0 | www v00015 | linux 5.4.83-pcpCore-v7l | piCore v12.0pCP | Squeezelite v1.9.8-1287-pCP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ palatin8's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68063 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110345
