I worked through the guide here: https://www.thefanclub.co.za/how-to/how-setup-picoreplayer-jivelite-use-waveshare-55-amoled-touchscreen This got me going with a 7 inch 1024 by 600 screen. I've not made it work with the Joggler skin yet - exactly the issue you describe - but it works well with "GridSkin (1024 x 600)" and "Touch Skin (1024 x 600)" (I think I have the names right!).
