SOLVED
The traffic was blocked by my Intrusion Detection System provided by OPNSense (https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/ips.html) There is a rule called "ET POLICY iTunes User Agent" which caught the traffic an blocked it - I have to dig a bit deeper but while stopping the service all works as expected.
