Greetings and thanks to all that have provided advice for PiCorePlayer newbies such as myself. I have a Synology DS218 NAS and like others I have been successfully using the LMS package provided by pinkdotnl. That works just fine - cheers pinkdot - but sadly it's not compatible with the latest version of DSM 7.0 (according to the release notes). So this week I bought an RPi 4 model B, loaded PCP v8.0.0 and installed LMS. I struggled for a while to mount a network drive to my NAS - volume1 and Volume1 are different things entirely to Linux, ha - but that's now done. So my share to the shared folder named 'music' on my NAS is now active (screenshot). Here's my problem. I launch LMS from within pCP, In the Media Folders section of LMS config, when I click Browse I cannot see any subfolders - so I cannot scan my media library on the NAS (second screenshot). Help please?
