No i cannot, as the hifi system can be powered up for some other reasons than using the player.. and cannot be shutdown if i turn on the rpi whilst the hifi was already on. I was thinking about to create an application that reads the gpio output of the picoreplayer and another input connected to the status of the hifi (like a led), and when there is a change of state it send a pulse on another gpio tjat is connected to the main power button. but i have no idea how to add a service to the system running picoreplayer. what do you think ? yves ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ygi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38324 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115108 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
