ir-keytables --test shows nothing.
Even without jivelite and cec-ctl running the TV screen shows the same "not connected" message in response to selecting pCP after finding it. The issue seems to be that the first thing the TV does when pCP is selected is to ask GIVE_DEVICE_POWER_STATUS. pCP replies that is an "unrecognised-op". After several retries but getting the same answer, the TV gives up and declares pCP is not connected. Maybe your Sony TV doesn't ask that or maybe it carries on even if it doesn't get a proper answer.
