I wonder how it follows conditional filters in our config.txt.  If it
follows a [PI0] directive, it will get an armv6 kernel.

Looking at the docs

They have not updated the directives to show how the new board
identifies.   But you should be able to use the [board-type=0x12] filter
to get the board.
