The Beocreate website recommends (for a Raspbian type OS unfortunately) "To use the board, you need to enable the HiFiBerry DAC driver in /boot/config.txt. Add this line to the file: dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac" A while ago when I first got this board Greg gave some advice https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108852-Announce-piCorePlayer-3-5-0&p=913504&viewfull=1#post913504 and using sndrpihifiberry from either "ES9023 DAC" or "HiFiBerry DAC Zero/MinAMP" works but at the reduced volume. In the interim I think I have used Max2Play as well as HiFiBerryOS but, if it worked at the right volume, I still preferred pCp. If relevant to the pCp OS, I could troubleshoot/experiment with Max2Play.
