I performed an in situ update from version 7.0 to version 8.2 and...jivelite works! And without any need to edit the config.txt file! I took a look at the config.txt file, and I noticed that it is different from the one present in a clean install of version 8.2. There is also a config.txt.default which is just the same as the one in a clean install of version 8.2.
