Where was this mentioned? I do not find any mention of Material Design in this thread, before your post. (I searched for the word "design" in this thread and your recent post was the only thing that came up.) Material SKIN is a plugin for LMS that provides an alternate web interface. That's what has been recommended for you, several times. The interface is still a web page and it does require a browser. I, too, would like to understand how a web page could be "run" without a browser! Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge).
