Try re-installing all extensions - they are in the menu of XPostFacto - 
I had lots of trouble initially with my 9600 - I got it running with 
Sonnett's extensions.  After upgrading to Ryan Rempel's version 2.2b7 
everything is running smoothly.

(9600/350 -> G4/450 - MacOS X v.10.1.4)
