I'm able to install OS 10.1 on my Kanga 3500 laptop successfully with XPostFacto v2.2b7 using the 10.1 procedure described. However, each time I reboot the computer I need to boot into OS 9, run XPostFacto, and reinstall bootx and extensions. OS X is stable, yes, but this is a laptop so it will need rebooting from time to time. In particular, this model seems to drain batteries almost as fast when it's asleep as when it's awake.
Is this a problem I should expect to have? Is there something I can do to fix it? Also can I install OS X 10.1.4 using the same procedure as described for OS X 10.1 ? -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
