What I'm trying to find out is how to disconnect from the internet. I quit on the screen, but the telephone line remains active and no one can make any calls. I was away from everything for three hours yesterday, and the phone was still tied up. The only way I can break the connection is to disconnect the line from the Modem, and then I get messages on the screen saying there is a problem with the line and the modem can't connect.
