I have had the privledge of getting a pre-release of 10.2 and scrolling isn't even the fastest there� and that's on my Yosemite at work w/Rage 128. I think due to the OS having SUCH a high overhead, almost any card save the new ones, will not be even close to OS 9 in fast scrollability.
Scrolling is obviously faster w/ Rage 128 OEM than with nothing, or onboard but well worth the effort. > Is it noticeable accelerated video, like in OS 9?
