I mentioned earlier that I had just bought an ATI Radeon 7000. I have since returned it. It worked okay under OS X except for 3D games. Any game would run for 30 seconds on average, and then crash. There was also the spinning beachball cursor artifact that would never go away.
Today I noticed that Ryan specifically mentions that the Radeon 7000 does not work under OS X for unsupported machines (wish I'd read that last week!). Just wondering... which PCI video cards will work properly (including the 3D acceleration)? I'd like to find one that's at least 16 MB and compatible with a PowerTowerPro.
