I have a 7300 which had a 1 gig scsi harddrive and I was unable to install OS 10.0.3 because when it gets to the part of where to install OS X it had no drives listed just a grayed out CD, which was the OS X boot cd.
I then installed a SIIG ATA 100/133 card with a WD 20 Gig hard drive. When I attempted to install Mac OS X 10.0.3 it did not show my SIIG connected drives as an option to install but yet Xpostfacto booted Boot X from the SIIG drive. So I guess OS X 10.0.3 does not recognize SIIG cards or something. Does anyone know if OS X 10.2 will solve the problem or should I just buy a bigger SCSI hard drive and reinstall it in my 7300.
