Although I can't really speak from experience, you should have better bandwidth, noticeable, but not drastic. The real big difference will be when you do something else that requires a lot of bandwidth on the bus (such as video capture to a HD attached to a PCI ATA card, etc). From the reports i've seen, PCI extreme works great, but chews up most of the bandwidth on the PCI bus, having the extra headroom should go a long way towards solving that problem.
