My buddy built a FireWire CD-RW with a Lite-On IDE drive and a generic 
Oxford 911 5.25" case and it worked fine via my FireWire PCI card on my 
7300 in OS X. I used Toast Ti 5.1.2 but I'm fairly sure it works in 
10.2 with Disk Copy and the Finder, it did on his iBook.
