Forced restarts, among other things, work just fine. What won't work 
are commands you issue before the OS is booted up. You can't do open 
firmware commands, you can't shut off extensions, and if you are using 
OS9, you cant simply press enter when DiskFirst Aid checks your drive 
at startup. The same applies to USB mouses.
