Hmmf! I have been happily running 10.1.5 on my stock 7600 with a 225 MHz
card and not having any serious issues. Today I Flashed Voodoo3 2000 card to
use under Mac OS 9 and decided to see if it would work okay under X.

First try: I got the spinning grey beachball like usual. At the point where
it should then cut to the blue boot screen, the grey ball stops and I seem
to hang.

PRAM Zap and back to XPF 2.2.2...Set Output specifically to Voodoo3 card and
reboot. Same result as First try.

Another PRAM Zap and I restart XPF with verbose mode. It gets all the way
through to setup complete with no panicking. Of course, there is no Window
Manager or Aqua at this point. I cannot do any sort of keyboard input except
of course, control apple power.

A PRAM zap always gets me into 9 again...Is OSX Voodoo3 friendly?

I will try it from the stock video and see what the profiler says if I can
boot.

Perhaps the newest version of the utility?

Help!
Scott
