It looks like it does the same basic function as Ryan's L2 Cache Config
tool, but patches the System Profiler as well.

Sonnet's tool works on Sonnet and MaxPower upgrades.

I tried using the Sonnet OSX installer just for "fun" and the L2 cache software causes it to crash when it loads. I also didn't see an easy way to turn it off or remove it. So the Sonnet OSX software doesn't appear to be usable with my J700 Umax with XLR8 G3 upgrade.
If you have a UMAX S900/J700 I recommend using the Powerlogix software as it lets you turn off the motherboard L2 cache which can not be removed. My machine runs much faster with this cache turned off. The Sonnet software may also auto do this for Sonnet card users but Ryan's L2CC does not.
