Dear List: This is part 2 of my query about running OS X on a PowerMac 8500.
In my first post I mentioned that this 8500 has a Sonnet G3 350 processor upgrade card and 304 MB RAM installed. I understand that I can use Sonnet's own enabling software to run OS X on this machine. I am also aware that there is an alternative software package called X PostFacto, but I'm not certain if it works with the Sonnet G3 processor upgrade cards. In addition, I understand that the Radeon 7000 graphics card works very well in computers which have processor upgrade cards installed. Since I am venturing into this realm for the first time, are there any issues of which I should be aware when running OS X on pre-G3 Macs such as the 8500?
