Well, no. But then I have tried the Sonnet card with other disks in the 
same mobo (it's okay), and with the same disk on other mobos (it's then 
not okay). The problem occurs if and only if Sonnet card tries to boot 
OS X Jag from this hard drive. But I'll try the throttling mechanism.

Betcha it doesn't fix it...
