Dear List: I am in the midst of retrofitting a friend's PowerMac 8500. The 8500 has already been refitted with a Sonnet G3 350 upgrade card and has 304 MB RAM installed. What internal CD burners are recommended to replace the 8500's existing CD-ROM? What about SuperDrives? How well will a Lacie external SCSI CD burner work in OS X on this computer?
