Dear List:

This is a follow up to my progress with trying to install OS X on an 8500.

After removing the video and USB cards, I tried to install OS 10.2 again.
This time around the computer booted up from the CD and went into verbose
mode. Eventually, the GUI appeared with the Mac OS X greeting screen. After
a few minutes of processing, I got to the point of actual installation. Then
I tried to install this software and a few moments later the same message
popped up informing that errors occurred trying to install this software.

Roland :(

P.S. On previous attempts to install OS X, the screen remained dark until
the Mac OS X greeting screen.
