FWIW, I agree with everything you say here.   I don't understand the 
immediate negative attitude some people seem to have regarding eBay.   If 
something is on eBay, then it is for sale.   Period.

Some people seem to think that eBay is some sort of rip-off, scammer heaven. 
   The reality is that eBay is one of the *best* sites on the web.   I have 
personally bought many thousands of $$ worth of merchandise in the last year 
or so on eBay - computer stuff, stereo equipment, antiques, etc.  All have 
been exactly as described and worth the money I paid.   Most of the stuff I 
buy I use "Buy It Now".   Hell, I bought my new, bare-bones S900, the hard 
drives and the Sonnet G4/450 card in separate purchases on eBay!

Lighten up people and accept eBay for what it is - a giant supermarket where 
anyone is welcome to buy and sell.
