No can do. OS X will not even acknowledge their existence. There were rumors of Linux hackers trying to get the PPC Linux drivers to work in OS X, but haven't heard any more about it. >These are really important to me, since I have no >television and I have always relied on my PowerMac to interface with my >VCR, my PlayStation, and more recently my DVD player. There are several USB video input devices, some even with TV tuners. There are also several FW analog video input devices. They cost more, and the quality may not be much better unless you get a G4 to decode the DV. However, if you have a DV camcorder, many of those do analog input conversion on the fly. >Even if I could get the SOUND IN rca jacks working, that would be an >improvement, at least, if I can't get the whole ball of wax. The standard sound in port should still work, although volume control is a bit unreliable in OS X. -- __________________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
