Have you looked at the page on OWC yet? They give a fairly decent rundown of what would work and what machines are compatible natively. From what I've learned, G3 300MHz and a good vid card. ATI Rage 128 w/DVD decoder card or any of the Radeon cards. I'm not quite sure if the retail version of the 128 would need the decoder add on or not.
