And I've run Mac OS 6.0.8 in 8 MB of RAM on a IIx with Illustrator 88 and Quark 2.0 open at the same time. Worked fine. It was memory starvation if I had to load Digital Darkroom, I had to quit the other two to load it. We ran a prepress app in 8 MB of RAM on a Sun 4/370 on top of Sun OS 4.1.0. That's memory starvation. The thing that will make more difference than RAM interleaving is to move to a 66 MHz or higher system bus than the 50 MHz one where RAM interleaving is involved. -- Charles Dostale [EMAIL PROTECTED] System Administrator, Silver Oaks Communications http://www.silveroaks.com 824 17th Street, Moline IL USA 61265 309-797-9898 -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
