Hey all,

I'm fairly new to the whole "OS X on unsupported hardware scene". In
my 9600, I have a Sonnet G4 800mhz PCI upgrade card.

After installing Jaguar, I downloaded and installed PowerLogix' Cache
Control program, and this sped up X immensely.

Now I'm wondering about Altivec. Does this work with the G4 Sonnet
cards by default with X, or is there something you have to download and
run to enable that as well?

I tried PowerLogix' "Altivec Enabler 1.0", but it tells me that
there's no application specified to open it. What's up with that?

All advice will be greatly appreciated!

Stace
