I have installed and then de-installed, an Apple OEM UltraWide SCSI Card. I removed the card because it seemed responsible for numerous freezes and crashes. I thought it was an extension conflict or file corruption, but even a complete reformat of the drive and reinstallation of OS 9.1 didn't fix it. The problem did not go away 'til I removed the card.
Also, I did not have any drives connected to the card. Any ideas why this would happen and what I might try to prevent it? Could the card be "bad"?
The only marking on the card is 1996 ATTO Technology and the processor has ATTO Express PCI PSC on it.
Thanks for any help offered. m.
