Thanks for the info everyone. The reason I ask is because I have a 9500 (aquired free) which I could upgrade or I have the option of getting a 233/266 (not sure which) G3 DT for very little money $100-200. The big plus of the G3 is that ram and HD's and CDRW's will be much easier to source. Its only going to be a machine to muck about with so I want to spend as little money on it as possible. Incidentally I've heard that some of the later G3's have some advantages over the earlier ones when it comes to sticking OSX on to them. You get more IDE channels? 4 instead of 2 etc.? Can anyone elaborate or is there another list I could post this to?
