Hey all, Just this morning, I had a monitor I think go bad that was connected to my 9600, running Jaguar.
To test it in another resolution, or also to even use a backup till I get a new one (none of my backup monitors will be able to handle the resolution the Mac is currently set to), I'm going to need to change to a lower resolution. So my question is, how can I do that? Currently, on the Mac, you can't see a thing on it. I want to try a different resolution to see if it works before buying a new one. And like I said, I can't even plug a backup monitor into it until I get the current resolution changed. I have SSH enabled on it, so, is there anything I can do from a terminal to change it? Or, would I be able to boot from an OS X CD to make changes? Or can't 9600's boot from an X CD?
