Where exactly is this option?

After seeing this message, I got excited and booted into 9, and ran
XpostFacto. Only thing I seen that sounded like the option you speak
of, was "Open Firmware". I went to the Output Device section, and all
that was listed was printer, modem, and something that started with
"ATY". I assumed that this may have been referring to my Radeon 7000,
so I chose it, but upon startup, the monitor still didn't kick on until
after the gray apple screen would have appeared, as it always has since
installing the Radeon.

Are there any other utilities out there that can make the Radeon kick
in earlier?
