Guys (and gals)

I'll finally upgrade my trusty 8600/250, and after a long
research I found the following prices for CPU upgrades, all
with 1mb of L2 cache:

Daystar - Daystar Carrier Mach
------------------------------
G3 400 ............................... $ 125,00
G4 350 ............................... $ 145,00

OWC (Sonnet Crescendo cards)
----------------------------
G3 450 ............................... $ 140,00
G3 500 ............................... $ 178,00

Small Dog (Sonnet Crescendo cards)
----------------------------------
G3 500 ............................... $ 175,00
G4 450 ............................... $ 225,00

I really liked the Daystar Carrier cards, as it'll
allow me to upgrade just the processor (tons of
ZIF cards will be in eBay in a year or so).

Are they reilable ? What is better: a [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
a [EMAIL PROTECTED] ? Or should I go for a G3 card @ 450
from Sonnet ?

$180 would be the biggest I would pay for an
accelerator card.

Thanks mates, I'm getting a little mad, money is
very tight down here in Brasil, so I must make
a very nice purchase
