Why does os X Jag fragment files all over the disk
so badly?
i run Norton speed disk to make everything contiguous and then a couple of weeks later its fragged again (not as bad) and I only do a fair amount of file creation and moving (personal stuff, not for work)
sigh...all you're asking for is a completely f*cked up disk beyond fsck's ability to repair.
This is the way Unix works, and it isn't a slowdown unless you have very full drives on a very slow bus.
Leave it alone. If you're defragging every other week, you're just begging for a disk failure.
also i read the LEM article No Mac Left Behind...
any truth to this rumor?
Measured your leg recently??? Anne Onymous couldn't wait for April 1....
