I sometimes see 5V DIMM modules that say "not compatible with G3 & G4
upgrade cards". I know that 70 nS memory is slightly slower than the
bus speed and could possibly cause problems. I believe that 60 nS is
quicker than the 50 MHz bus of Unsupported machines, and I've never had
problems with it. This incompatible memory is usually 60 nS. Since the
memory itself has no way of knowing what the processor type is, and its
performance is based upon its own speed and the specifications of the
machine, I'm uncertain exactly how or why this could be possible? Could
someone that has knowledge about this elaborate? Kris
