I have a 400mhz (not overclocked - yet) SSE version Daystar Accelerator, and I didn't wanted to buy their software for OS X. I'm using the Powerlogix software to enable the L2 cache on X, and it's working flawlessly so far.
As soon as Ryan releases Xpostfacto for Panther, I'm going to buy it, since it'll enable Panther and the L2 cache all in one software. I don't think it's even worth using Daystar's software.
My two cents.

2x18gb 10krpm scsi Hd's w/ 80 to 50 pin adaptors to the internal scsi bus. I also have a 4gb scsi drive and a 40 gb IDE drive.
Short Version: Paid Daystar for license for OS-X version of machspeed cpu cache control software and cpu monitor. Running OS 10.2, I ran the installer and system kernal panicked everytime I tried to reboot to OS-X. I could and did reboot to OS-9 and removed the installed files from their locations on the hard drive. Rebooted perfectly to OS-10.
Has anyone been able to successfully use Daystar's XLR8 Machspeed software w/ 10.2 on an s900?
I get the digetst so please respond to the list. Thx
