In troubleshooting, the manual says:
There is also one jumper with the "TERM" mark On the rear panel of your SCSI CD-ROM drive. It is used to set the drive's active terminator being enabled or disabled. You should leave it unjumpered to enable the active terminator for that drive.
TERM
OPEN -- ENABLE active terminator
SHORT -- DISABLE active terminator
(The factory default is OPEN for ENABLE)
If the SCSI CD-ROM drive is not connected in one end of the SCSI bus chain, the SCSI CD-ROM drive's terminator must be disabled by using that jumper.
Is this backwards of normal? If this is correct, then I need jumpers on everything EXCEPT the ends of the chain? If this is correct, no wonder my SCSI bus has been screwy, I've been backwards in my termination it appears. Kris Tilford
