I haven't tried it yet, but supposedly XPF 3 can boot any bootable CD using the "helper drive" function that starts the boot process on an internal drive and preloads the required XPF extensions, and then hands it off to the CD in much the same way earlier XPF got the OS X installer CD to boot. If it works, that could free up a little HD space in the future. Kris Tilford
