The built-in vid of the beige G3 and the wallstreet powerbook are both 
based on Rage 2, 2+ or pro. Given that it's Rage 2 biv support which is 
lacking in Panther - and hence demands use of a PCI graphics card like 
the 7000 - I would be surprised if wallstreet will work with panther 
any time soon.
