I was fortunate enough to come across a 9500 for free this past weekend. It has six slots and more room for RAM under the hood than my trusty 7600.
I would like to transfer all of the parts from my 7600 into the case of the 9500--ATA card, USB, Rage128, HD, G3 card. Will I have any issues when Panther boots for the first time into a new environment? I know that the 7600 and 9500 motherboards are different but both are compatible with XPF. I just want to know if there are any settings I need to change before performing the transplant. It's a lot of work to tear down a 9500 case, but I only have to do it once!
Thanks, Scott
