Yeh, I agree, it's odd. Lotsa things are odd.

I mean, like, I have this Matrox card that's supported in OS 9 and
it's supported in Rhapsody, but it doesn't work in OS X. And I have
this nice Adaptec SCSI controller that's supported in *Darwin* and
doesn't work in OS X.

Apple has some funny ideas about drivers sometimes.
