Oh, I missed this. 10.1.5 *will* run on a 604e, but it is agonisingly slow. You really really really need a G3 if you're going to use this for anything but proving it's possibl. I installed 10.1 on a 180 MHz 604e, it took 20 hours to install. Opening a program, any program, took half a minute.
