I must agree with Nancy.  Classic doesn't seem to like things that
change cacheing, Altivec, etc.  Most other extensions seem to be okay.
I have an 8500 with Sonnet G4/450 card, running 10.2.8, and can even
run the OMS extension for MIDI in Classic. --L
