You don't say whether yours is an all PCI system ("Yikes" mainboard), or an AGP system ("Sawtooth" mainboard). If it's an early 350 MHz G4 I suspect it's a Yikes. On the whole, the Sawtooth has better performance and justifies more upgrade investment.

You need to confirm what type it is in order to get the right kind of cpu.
