Well folks, i've had a good time learning about macs and OS-X and I'm thinking it may soon be time to retire my S900. It no longer boots to OS-X on any partition, just kind of hangs in middle of boot process. I was planning on using it as a general internet access machine and print server for my two USB printers, but now I'm stuck in OS-9.1. If I just want a print server I would be better served getting an older laptop and setting it to never sleep. It would take up far less space and use much less juice.

Oh well, at least now I'll have room for one of those new G5's, or one of those older 1 ghz DP G4's that are still dual boot. Yes it's not a G5, but I think i'll just wait until the shine is off those before I think about upgrading. Besides, I still have a raft load of OS-9 stuff that just won't work well under classic, including several of my favorite flight/space simulators and a couple of graphics programs.

Maybe I'll take a weekend and give it one more college try. Better lay in a supply of beer, chips, wings, and dip.
