Anyone have any experience with XTelevision, TurboTV card, or anything similar under OS X?
I am having Television withdrawls, since upgrading to OS X on my 9500. I got my Yamaha CRW4260 to burn CD's, but now need to get the TV card working. I am delighted to have Jaguar on it, which seems to work much better than 10.1, and there do seem to be more applications that work with 10.2. I have tried just about every binary on SourceForge, plus the iTV binary off of the other site, heard rumpr of TurboTV card being supported, but alas, nothing. Currently, I do have at least an application "XTelevision" that doesn't crash of hang my computer, and pumps out "update" messages to the Console. I think the Bt8xx.kext is working, since if I do the command to load it, it says its already loaded. Essentially, it seems running, but still has the blank screen and no audio. Any help, even general diagnostic suggestions, would be appreciated. -Lars -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
